Hi Utopia peeps! Here's a little about me:

I'm a hybrid author, having been published every which way. I write fantasy and contemporary novels Catherine Stine and romance as Kitsy Clare.

Witch of the Cards is my newest, a dark historical fantasy set in 1932 on the Jersey shore. Dorianna is my paranormal twist for the Internet generation on the Oscar Wilde classic . Fireseed One and Ruby’s Fire are sci-fi romances in my Fireseed series, set on a future earth. And Heart in a Box is my new YA contemporary romance. I'm thrilled to say that they've all hit the bestseller lists in various categories.

As Kitsy, my Art of Love romance series starts with with a novella called Model Position where artist Sienna Karr falls for the live (and very naked) drawing model, and continues with Private Internship where Sienna is attracted against her better judgment to her bad-boy, millionaire boss, Caz. In both, readers are along for an exhilarating ride as Sienna juggles friends, relationships and a fledgling art career. I know the painting world, having shown my work in galleries for a while.

I suspect my love of dark fantasy came from my dad reading Edgar Allen Poe to me for bedtime stories. I love to meet fellow writers, readers and chat about the book world, so come visit me at my table on Thursday & Friday (also SAT), or just track me down!
